I drive a semi truck for a living (the big trucks you see on the highways)
I worked on a dairy goat farm in the USA for a few months. There were also chickens, quail, vegetables, and fruit trees

I stayed at Mike and Peggy's homestead from December through February.
The location is in the Sonoran desert,
about a 25 minute drive from the nearest town. There is an abundance of hiking opportunities on mountains very close to the home.

Jordan was one of the best volunteers we could dream of at this time. He is very quick learner, autonomous, friendly and very reliable when it comes to keeping the house clean, being timely, focus and efficient at work. We enjoyed his company and his precious help for over three weeks.

I stayed at this location for 3 weeks in November. I took a Louage (taxi van) from Tunis to Chebba, and Elyes picked me up. The volunteer house is separate from the host's house, in a different part of town. The home is large and has everything you need in a house, and it is very close to the beaches (5 minute walk). I volunteered for Erasmo for three weeks in October. The volunteers stay in a small house within walking distance to Erasmo's house and his daughter's/grandchildren's. The location is in beautiful hill countryside, and one can walk to a village by crossing through a shallow river.

I had a postive experience staying at Maria's farm. I only stayed for 5 days as that was all she needed at the time before I had arrived). The property is at the base of Mt Vesuvio, with great views overlooking Napoli. You can walk into the nearby town from their property, and there is east access to Vesuvio.
