Hello! We are a 19-year-old couple from Prague, currently finishing our final exams. Before we dive into university life, we’ve decided to take a well deserved break and spend our summer discovering the world.

We grew up in a city, but enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping or just birdwatching, and we’re not afraid of getting our hands dirty with physical work in nature and stepping out of our comfort zone. We are respectful guests, love a good laugh, meaningful conversations and are fun and energetic once we feel at home. Since we both have younger siblings, we’re very family-oriented and value kindness in a home. We’re not just looking for a place to stay, we’re looking for a way to meet new people, contribute and learn about other cultures and lifestyles. We consider ourselves hardworking, eager to help wherever we can and we’re excited for making new memories while also sharing some fun stories from our home.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Jonas:
I grew up in a multicultural family. My mum is Czech and my dad is French so I'm fluent in both languages. I'm also fluent in English and I've been learning a bit of German. I've always been very active and sport-driven. I've been playing rugby for 14 years and I've done a bit of martial arts. I also have experience coaching kids between the ages of 4 and 12 plus I have two younger brothers (16 and 10) so I'm used to spending time with kids, keeping them entertained and making sure they're safe. My dad loves cooking and he often shares his passion with me so I'm used to helping prepare meals for the family. My uncle worked in a vegetarian food truck called Le Bouillon in Allier, France, where I have worked with him many times helping to prepare vegetarian dishes. My parents volunteered and traveled together when they were younger and the memories and experiences from it have always inspired me to do the same.


Zuza:
Next year I would like to study international relations and languages, so my traveling goal is to improve my French and pick up the basics of a new one. I have two younger sisters (18 and 15) and I enjoy being around kids. I’ve been going to summer camps since I was five and for the last three years, I have attended as an instructor and medic (certified). I also have experience with children through my work as an animator in a waterpark, where I'm creating fun programs for children. I do sports as well as Jonas (twirling and majorettes) and I am coaching young girls between 5 and 14. I'm passionate about music and all kinds of art (photography, creative writing, theater, crafts), so if you have creative children, we can paint, sing, play board games or play the guitar together! And on calm days I can braid their hair or teach them how to do it:) My family is really into healthy lifestyle as well, so we are part of a community garden and plant our own fruit, vegetables and chicken eggs. I don’t have any pets, but since I study biology right now, I am close to animals and nature. I have a positive and motivated attitude towards life and I can't wait to explore more!
