Hello out there :)
I am a 22 year old student and live in in the North of Germany. I am currently studying environmental sciences and am just about to finish my studies.
I made my first experience with Workaway after graduating from high school in 2019/20. At that time I went to Costa Rica for 7 months, worked in hostels and on a horse farm and got to know the language and the country. Now, 4 years later, I'm looking for hosts again.
Maybe some more info about me: When I'm not writing my bachelor thesis, I'm outdoors a lot. I love to walk a lot, go jogging or swimming, and recently discovered calisthenics for myself. When I'm not doing sports, I also like to sit inside with a coffee and paint or do handicrafts.

Quais são suas habilidades?
Through my experience abroad and workaway I have experience working in hotels. Since I also worked for 3 months on a horse farm and have been riding for many years, I also have knowledge here in dealing with animals and working on a farm.
Through my studies, I have dealt intensively with sustainability issues and generally dealt a lot with scientific backgrounds. I have also taken additional modules in project management to gain experience here.
As I am very interested in sports and nutrition, I have learned a lot about trekking, hiking, dancing (salsa, bachata), acroyoga and healthy nutrition over the last years. I am happy to share recipes and I‘m always up for a cooking evening or a long walk. :)
In addition, I am a very open and reliable person and enjoy meeting other people and learn something new.

Jolanda stayed with us for 5 weeks and was an excellent addition to our team. Although we were initially hesitant to bring her on due to her age, we found her to be incredibly responsible, hardworking, and eager to contribute. In addition to fulfilling her reception duties, she also created a lovely painting in one of our community… read more
