Hi, I’m Jessica! 👋

I’m a qualified PE teacher from the UK with over two years of international teaching experience in Dubai, where I worked as both a Physical Education teacher and Head of Grade 9. In this role, I redesigned the curriculum to be more engaging and student-centered, developed behavior policies, and created opportunities for students to thrive through sport, fitness, and extracurricular activities.

Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about health, fitness, and staying active. I enjoy training for triathlons, playing netball, and trying out new activities wherever I travel.

I’m currently on a short career break and excited to use Workaway as a way to meet new people, learn new skills, and contribute my energy to meaningful projects, whether that’s teaching, organizing activities, helping with sports and fitness, or pitching in with practical tasks. I’m adaptable, hardworking, and always ready to get involved with a smile.

Hi, I’m Lauren! 🌍

I recently graduated from university with a degree in Criminology, where my studies gave me a deep interest in people, behaviour, and the different ways we connect as humans. Since then, I’ve built up a lot of experience working in care roles, supporting individuals of all ages and backgrounds. These roles have taught me patience, empathy, and the value of giving back to others—qualities I carry into everything I do.

I’m passionate about broadening my knowledge and skills, especially in ways that allow me to meet new people, learn from different cultures, and contribute to meaningful projects. I love being part of a team, sharing experiences, and making a positive impact wherever I can.

With my background in care and support, I bring reliability, kindness, and strong communication skills to any environment. Whether it’s helping people directly, assisting with community projects, or learning something completely new, I’m always ready to get stuck in and give my best.
