I have recently completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Level 3 certification and I am eager to volunteer as an ESL teacher. With my playful and creative approach, I am excited to engage young students in interactive lessons and share my enthusiasm for language and education.

Although my professional background has primarily been in managing high-level accounts for manufacturers, I have developed exceptional relationship skills and a strong understanding of technology and computers, which I believe will contribute to creating engaging and effective learning experiences for students.

Having travelled extensively and experienced different cultures, I have developed a deep respect for and sensitivity to the needs and practices of diverse communities. I believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that embraces cultural diversity.

In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking and swimming, and I have a passion for exploring new places, trying different foods, and immersing myself in music and literature. I am also a creative individual who is not afraid to get involved in hands-on tasks. I have experience in housekeeping, landscaping, gardening, and even renovating campervans/motorhomes. Additionally, my computer literacy and strong communication skills enable me to effectively connect with others.

I am eager to embark on a volunteering opportunity through this platform, and I am open to any questions or further information you may require.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a native English speaker, and have recently achieved a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). My education is college level within the UK, I have achieved a diploma and have 11 GCSE (High School) qualifications. My career to date has been over 10 years working in consumer electronic distribution, as an account manager for retail accounts. I have a great range of corporate skills, as well as great technical understanding. I have excellent relationship skills, have project management experience and have lead teams of people. Thankfully I also have a great sense of humour and love to get stuck in to any task I am presented. Some of my more 'soft' skills include:
- Housekeeping/cleaning/decluttering, happy to get stuck in with the right tools. I have worked in housekeeping with my present host at Hillview Heritage Hotel.
- Animal lover, have lived with and owned dogs in the past, as well as done some professional dog sitting.
- Some DIY, I have renovated an RV before and painted plenty of walls.
- Gardening and grounds keeping, have volunteered previously, and take an interest in my own garden at home.
- Resale/negotiation for second hand items - overall a great communicator.
- Cooking, no professional experience, but a personal interest and enjoyment in the kitchen, with some great recipes up my sleeve.

I am social and love the opportunity to be creative, competitive or try something new. I am very playful and like to participate in games, or play with children. I consider myself to be quite spiritual but in a very broad sense, so I am open minded and will not force my beliefs on anyone else, and I approach anyone else's religion or culture with the utmost respect and sensitivity. I enjoy learning about other cultures, trying new foods and flavours and getting a chance to see the beautiful world we live in. Happy out on the water, and enjoy kayaking and other water sports. I am fully vaccinated with a booster jab.
