Hello there, I’m an active person who likes being outdoors, visiting new places, and making friends along the way. Hard working, reliable, honest, energetic, enterprising, tidy, conscientious and organised. I like keeping busy and don’t sit still. I am passionate about wildlife, nature conservation, and the environment. When at home I volunteer for a local wildlife charity helping restore heathland by clearing scrub, also do weekly checks on a small herd of Belted Galloway cattle, and feed a cat while its owner is away. I like hiking, especially mountains, sailing, and travelling with others to new places. I recently worked on a project in Southern Africa clearing invasive plants.
I live Surrey, England, but also lived near Durban, South Africa as a child. In the European winter I try to travel to warmer places, where I can make a difference. I am a non smoker, no drugs, but I do enjoy the occasional beer at the end of a hard week!
