Hi! We’re Jodie (23) and Tom (22), a couple based in Manchester, England.
We’re really excited to start our first Workaway adventure together. We love travelling, meeting new people, and creating new memories, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us.

I’m Jodie.
I’m in my final year of university studying Criminology, and I’ve just come back from a semester abroad in San Diego. That experience made me even more eager to see more of the world and meet people from different backgrounds. I’m a huge animal lover, and I’m happiest when I’m outdoors exploring new places.

I’m Tom.
I recently graduated from university and now work as a graphic designer. I’m really looking forward to travelling more, discovering new cultures, and trying new things. I also love outdoor activities and being active wherever I go.

Together, we bring a blend of practical skills and a really positive, hands-on attitude.
We’re reliable, friendly, and quick to learn, and we’re always happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing. We can help with a mix of things including basic DIY, cleaning, general house help, gardening, outdoor tasks, and pet care. We both love animals, enjoy being active, and take pride in being respectful, tidy, and easy to work with.

We can’t wait to explore, help out, and meet lots of amazing hosts.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Together, we bring a solid mix of practical abilities and experience from work and everyday life.
We’re adaptable, willing to learn, and always ready to get involved with whatever tasks are needed.

Jodie is a natural animal lover with experience dog sitting. She has over two years of experience working with children, as well as a strong background in customer-facing roles, which has helped her become confident, approachable, and reliable.

Tom is creative, motivated, and enjoys getting involved in physical or hands-on work. He has experience house sitting and cat sitting, along with painting and helping clear and organise spaces. With more than seven years of customer service experience, he has strong communication skills and a dependable work style.

At home, we share day-to-day responsibilities and work well as a team whether we’re cooking, cleaning, organising, or running errands. We’re both hardworking, supportive, and excited to bring our strengths to any project we’re part of.

We love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and finding small joys wherever we go—whether that’s daily walks, camping trips, browsing local markets, or hunting for treasures at car boot sales and charity shops. We’ve also recently started going to the gym together and have been perfecting a pretty great banana bread recipe. We both enjoy keeping busy, trying new things, and making the most of our free time.

Jodie is truly happiest when she’s around animals. She loves taking her dog Star out for long walks and spending time with her cat Onyx. She’s also incredibly close with her nan and enjoys visiting her whenever she can. Jodie has a calm, warm energy and enjoys simple comforts—whether that’s a cosy evening trying a new recipe or wandering through a local market seeing what she can find.

Tom is naturally creative and always has a project or idea he’s playing around with. He loves skateboarding, exploring new towns and cities, and discovering interesting spots off the beaten path. He has a great eye for anything unique or artistic, which definitely comes out when we’re searching through markets or charity shops. He’s also really outdoorsy and is always up for a camping trip or long walk.
