Hi!

I’m Jake, I'm 26, and from a small town High Wycombe in England.

I’m a musician and a keen traveller - I’ve moved about a lot in the last few years, living in Spain, Cornwall, London, The Isle of Skye, and New Zealand. I've also walked the Camino de Santiago back in 2023 (maybe the most special experience of my life) and biked from my home to Albania in 2024.

I'm very hard-working, I've worked in hospitality for over 10 years and still enjoy it! I'm friendly and kind, I really enjoy meeting new people and making special connections. I enjoy outdoor work, gardening, and working with animals, I also would love to find stays that involve a spiritual/meditation/yoga side to them✨

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a musician - I can play and teach guitar and piano.
I have worked in hospitality for over 7 years - I love working in restaurants and interacting with people.
I have basic hands-on skills such as gardening, maintenance, cleaning and cooking.
I studied Maths at university and can use these skills if needed!
I also have photography skills and basic online and word processing skills.
I speak basic conversations Spanish and a small amount of Greek.
I have worked and trained as an English language teacher in Spain and I am TEFL certified.

Jake was a delightful addition to our family. He was very helpful, when weather permitted 🤣. It rained the first days. Jake was a polite and trustworthy young volunteer who stayed with us for 5 weeks. He got along well with other volunteers and worked effectively both as part of a team and independently. Jake was punctual and dependable throughout his stay. We highly recommend Jake to other hosts.

I stayed at Frank & Junko's place for around 5 weeks and what an incredible time I had.
