Hey! I come from a pretty varied professional background, having worked in the built environment as well as in recruitment across IT and insurance. I’ve also spent time teaching English as a foreign language in Vietnam and Spain, which was an amazing experience and really sparked my love for meeting people from different cultures.

Outside of work, I’m really into mountaineering, being out in nature, and exploring new places. Over the last six years, I’ve been learning Spanish and now speak it fluently, which has made travelling and connecting with people even more rewarding.

I’m looking to do a Workaway for up to three weeks, ideally somewhere surrounded by nature. I’d love the chance to switch off from the usual routine, reconnect with the outdoors, and meet like-minded people. I’m not afraid of hard work and I’m always happy to get stuck in wherever needed. Most importantly, I’ll bring a positive attitude and good energy to the experience!

¡Hola! Tengo una trayectoria profesional bastante variada: he trabajado en el sector del entorno construido y también en reclutamiento dentro de IT y seguros. Además, he enseñado inglés como lengua extranjera en Vietnam y España, una experiencia increíble que despertó aún más mi interés por conocer gente de diferentes culturas.

Fuera del trabajo, me encanta el montañismo, la naturaleza y descubrir nuevos lugares. Durante los últimos seis años he estado aprendiendo español y ahora tengo un nivel fluido, lo que me ha permitido disfrutar mucho más de mis viajes y de las conexiones con otras personas.

Actualmente estoy buscando hacer un Workaway de hasta tres semanas, idealmente en un entorno natural. No tengo problema en trabajar duro y siempre estoy dispuesto a ayudar en lo que haga falta. Sobre todo, quiero aportar una actitud positiva y buena energía a la experiencia.

’ve also had great experiences taking part in language exchanges, particularly in Valencia and Bristol. These were really enjoyable and rewarding, as they gave me the chance to connect with people from different backgrounds in a relaxed and social setting. In both cities, I regularly met with people to practice English and Spanish through conversation, helping others improve their confidence while also continuing to develop my own Spanish. It was never just about language, but also about sharing cultures, perspectives, and experiences. These exchanges helped me become a more patient and adaptable communicator, and I really enjoy creating a comfortable environment where people feel encouraged to learn and express themselves. It’s something I’d love to continue during my Workaway, whether that’s helping others with English or simply connecting through conversation.

* Communication and people skills: Through recruitment and teaching English, I’ve developed strong communication skills and I’m comfortable working with people from all backgrounds. I’m friendly, approachable, and enjoy being part of a team.

* Teaching and language support: I’ve taught English in Vietnam and Spain, so I can help with informal language practice, structured lessons, or conversational English. I also speak fluent Spanish, which makes it easy for me to integrate and communicate in Spanish-speaking environments.

* Work ethic and reliability: I’m used to working in professional environments where being organised, reliable, and proactive is essential. I’m not afraid of hard work and always try to bring a positive attitude.

Health and fitness are an important part of my daily life. I enjoy staying active, especially through rock climbing and spending time outdoors. I’m naturally drawn to mountains and nature, and I find a lot of balance and clarity from being outside.

I also have a real passion for travel and experiencing new cultures. One of my favourite parts of travelling is trying new food and learning about local cuisine. I love cooking as well, and I’m always happy to share meals with others, including a few Italian recipes passed down from my grandma.

In my downtime, I enjoy playing the guitar and reading. Whether it’s a relaxed evening with music or getting lost in a good book, I appreciate the simple things and a slower pace of life.

Overall, I’d say I’m someone who enjoys staying active, being social, and making the most of new experiences while keeping a good balance.
