Hey you lovely people :)
I'm Jen, born and raised in Berlin / Germany and super excited to explore different cultures and connect on a deep level with people from all over the world. :)
I started traveling and doing Workaways in 2018, went back home when Covid hit and now I'm looking for an intentional community to put my love, knowledge, care and energy in. I'm all about concious relationships, conflict-resolve, awareness, integration, trauma-healing and practicing the teachings of Teal Swan.
I'm a socialworker and spent more than a decade nursing adults with special needs in residential groups. I've always been passioned about caring for people and empowering them in their daily lives. Babies and Toddlers hold a very special place in my heart. Seeing them grow and develop a sense of self just fills me with joy.
I'm also enthusiastic about animals - especially chickens. :) Their fluffyness, curiosity and trust are extremly healing to me and they're just as unhinged as I am.

I'd love to live and work with a close-knit group of people on a little farm, taking care of animals, doing any kind of cleaning and general maintanence.
I enjoy working as a team but also capable of getting tasks done on my own. :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm a social worker and have lots of experiences in caring for mentally, psychologically and physically handicapped people.
My sensitivity and empathy allow me to see and understand people on a very deep level and lead them through their pain by going into very old wounds. I feel drawn to hold workshops, offer one on one sessions and would love to learn from someone who already offers their skills.
As a Foster-care-child I'v been surrounded by traumatised, abused babies and toddlers and learned how to handle their wounds and needs at a very young age.
In 2017 I started to rent out a room in my apartment frequently, so I'm used to hosting and designing a comfy, clean home for my guests to enjoy their trip.
Pre-Covid I had the chance to do 4 wonderful workaways in 3 different countrys, lived with a local family in Bali for a month, spend three month in Malaysia working in a secondhandstore with around 60 animals on the property and learned a lot about cultures, lifestyles and values miles away from home.
Debarking logs, pruning trees, milking goats, nursing pigs and chickens and cleaning / improving their stables are just a few of all the things I did. I learned to serve costumers and took care of dogs, cats, pigs, goats, geese, turkeys, chickens, ducks and their babys and just absolutely loved it :)

Unlike most people I enjoy cleaning, decluttering, organising things, doing dishes and laundry. :D It's weird, but soooo beneficial. :) So, if you have a space in your house that needs some attention: I'll sparkle it up. :)
