Hii! I'm Izaline :)

A traveler from the Netherlands, interested in seeing more of the world!

I grew up in Curaçao (a small island in the Caribbean) but moved back to the Netherlands when I was 11 years old. I've always been interested in learning more about different cultures and seeing more of the world. After high school, I took a gap year and started traveling. I stayed with local families, traveled around, and had a lovely Workaway experience. This all filled me with new energy and insights, helping me grow as a person while learning from others. When I came back home, I worked as a barista to save up so I could continue traveling. And now, my new adventure is about to start!

A few things that bring me peace and joy are being outside in nature, horseback riding and being creative in different ways, such as drawing, painting, photographing, making my own jewellery and cooking—I adore it all. I'm deeply interested in self-development and spirituality. I practice breathwork and meditation regularly and would love to deepen my spiritual practice during my Workaway stays and travels :)

One of the things I cherish most while traveling is learning about the local ways of life. I believe there's so much we can learn from one another! I'm very open-minded and love trying new things. I’m excited about the possibility of sharing stories, skills, and laughs with new friends along the way :)

I would love to improve my Spanish and French, but I'm open to learning any new languages :) I'm fluent in Dutch and have a C1 level in English, so I would be able to teach you!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Some things I can offer:

- Animal care/farming: I’ve worked on a camel farm and have been riding horses since I was 9 years old.
- Photography: I’m still learning, but I’m getting better at it!
- Art and design/DIY: I love to paint, draw, make things and design things.
- Good with children
- Cooking: I love to cook and try new recipes.
- Barista skills: I can make great coffee and create latte art!

I still have many skills to learn, but I’m very motivated and a quick learner :)

Work experience:
- Tour guide at a camel dairy: I led guided tours for large groups (up to 100 people) and supervised children's parties at the farm.
- Barista experience: I have experience working as a barista and creating latte art.
- Horse riding: I’ve been riding horses since I was 9 years old and am accustomed to helping take care of them.
