Hi, I'm Inger. After many years of teaching young children in school and in nature, and being a mum to three lovely people, I'm now on a sabbatical, exploring new places and looking forward to connecting with people around the world. I love being outdoors, creating with natural resources, engaging with children and being part of a caring community: I have been lucky to combine these passions as a forest school leader.
Before starting my family 26 years ago I did a lot of travelling, and I'm excited to do this again, expanding my mind as well as being outside my comfort zone. I'm also an animal lover and missing my gorgeous dog who takes me for long walks, and the chickens. I'm a cold water dipper, a rower and I love a good read.
Hi, I'm Malcolm, together we are spending a couple of months Interrailing round Europe. We want to get to know people, their lifestyles, help with some work and make friends. I like fixing things and doing woodwork, sculpting and some painting. I am retired, most of my working life was in the NHS and I am curious about how diet, community and relationship with nature impacts health and wellbeing. I like to cycle, do yoga and run when my leg is not hurting!

Quais são suas habilidades?
We both grew up on farms and are practical. I have run a forest school and Malcolm has worked in health &care and loves doing woodwork and sculpting. We have experience in keeping an old house , garden and veg patch, chickens, dog and guinea pigs, plus raised our three children. Happy to cook, do DIY jobs, gardening, childcare and work with animals. Although we're not in the average Workaway age, we're fit with good stamina and humour!
