Hey, I’m Imry (23) from Tel Aviv. Traveling Japan now and looking for a warm family or community-minded hostel-ideally in northern Japan.

What I’m good at:
- Cooking simple, tasty, family-style meals
- Time with kids: games, homework help, calm routines
(worked in a kindergarten after-school program + a year volunteering at a special-education school for boys in Jerusalem)
- Keeping things running: dishes, laundry, organizing, bed changes, store runs, basic gardening, simple DIY
- Bonus: can help with basic tech and simple website pages if useful

Work style:
Early riser; calm, tidy, and dependable. I learn fast, follow instructions, and communicate clearly. Give me a short list and I’ll get it done.

Languages & food:
Hebrew (native), English (high level).
Usually vegetarian (11 years), but in Japan I’m flexible with fish/meat.

Looking for:
2–4 weeks. Happy to start with 1–2 weeks and extend if it’s a good fit.
If you want someone to keep the kitchen humming, be kind with kids, and bring order to the small things - happy to join.

Yes - happy to do a language exchange. Native Hebrew; English high level (not native). I’m a beginner in Japanese and would love help with everyday phrases, kana/reading basics, and kitchen/household vocab. In return I can teach Hebrew from scratch and help with English conversation.

Quais são suas habilidades?

- Cooking & kitchen – Experienced home-cook used to shared living. I plan and cook simple, tasty, family-style meals; keep the kitchen clean and organized; handle dishes and laundry smoothly. Usually vegetarian (11 years), but in Japan I also cook/eat fish and meat.

- Childcare & youth work – Worked in a kindergarten after-school program and volunteered a full year at a special-education school for boys at risk in Jerusalem. Patient and steady; can help with homework, games, outdoor time, and calm routines.

- Housekeeping & organizing – Daily cleaning, bed changes, laundry cycles, decluttering/storage, and setting up simple checklists/routines to keep things tidy.

- Hostel / guest support – Friendly and service-minded: check-ins, guest care, making beds, basic cleaning, store runs, and keeping common areas welcoming.

- DIY & light tasks – Basic gardening/weeding, simple repairs, carrying/organizing supplies, and following clear instructions safely.

- Tech & basic web – Can help with basic tech setup and simple, clean website pages (photos, info, contact/booking links).

- Languages – Hebrew (native), English (high level), Japanese (very beginner).
