Hello there!

My name is Ercan, and I'm a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the Turkish Air Force. After 27 years of service, I've decided to embark on a new adventure and travel the world! I've been to many different places during my career, including several assignments in NATO / AFGHANISTAN as a security advisor.

Now that I'm retired, I'm excited to explore new cultures, meet new people, and share my skills and experiences along the way. I'm an avid cook, handyman, and DIY enthusiast, and I'm always eager to learn new things and tackle new challenges.

As a Workawayer, I'm looking for opportunities to connect with people and communities around the world. I'm interested in cultural exchange, language practice, and hands-on projects that allow me to use my skills and learn new ones. Whether you need help with a DIY project, want to learn some new recipes, or just want to chat over a cup of tea, I'm here to help.

A little bit more about me: I'm 46-years-old, and I speak Turkish and English fluently. I'm a friendly, reliable, and respectful person who enjoys working hard and having fun. I'm also a good listener and an open-minded person who loves learning about different cultures and ways of life.

My wife, Nursel, is 46 years old and recently retired after 27 years as an operating room nurse. She is a versatile artist and an excellent cook. She excels in preparing a variety of dishes, sweets, and pastries, especially Turkish cuisine. I can guarantee that you will thoroughly enjoy the meals she prepares.

As a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the Turkish Air Force, I've developed a wide range of interests and hobbies over the years. Here are a few things that I'm particularly passionate about:

Travel: I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a long-term adventure, I'm always up for a new travel experience.

Cooking: Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes, and I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and ingredients. I specialize in Turkish cuisine, but I also love learning about and cooking dishes from other parts of the world.

DIY Projects: I'm a handyman at heart, and I love taking on DIY projects. From building furniture to repairing appliances, I'm always eager to use my skills and learn new ones.

Language Learning: I speak Turkish and English fluently, but I'm always interested in learning new languages. I find it to be a great way to connect with people and understand different cultures.

History and Culture: As a former security advisor, I have a strong interest in history and culture. I enjoy visiting museums, historical sites, and other cultural landmarks, and I love learning about the people and events that have shaped the world.
