Born in the south of Germany, currently living in a medieval city and searching for a workaway opportunity in Ireland. 5 facts about myself:

1. 🌳forest and tree lover: everywhere I am, I search for forests and beautiful trees; either just to look at it or to enjoy the sound while sitting on the ground (don‘t mind getting dirty ;)

2. ♻️sustainability as core topic: I work as a sustainability manager for a company that produces windows. Discussions about ecofriendly material, new ways to reduce the carbon footprint or how to convince the management that spending money for environmental protection is necessary are just a few topics of my daily work

3. 🐴 horse girl: I grow up with horses, dogs and cats. Since I didn't have the time (or the money), owning a horse remained a dream for a long time, so I helped others instead. Since 2020 a Westphalian mare called Kate is part of our family. She’s my best but also toughest teacher. Because of her, I've started (and am still in the process of) rethinking various aspects of the world of equestrian sports.

4. 🦔 Temporary worker of hedgehog sanctuary: whenever I have time, I support a small sanctuary for injured and weak hedgehogs. Working in the dirt, cleaning, helping to treat wounds,… is something I am familiar with

5. 🇮🇪 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 WWOOFing experience in Scotland and Ireland: Both countries have a special place in my heart. My first two experiences as a voluntary worker on organic farms. But also the culture, the nature and the experience with the wonderful people there means a lot to me .

I learned Swedish during my studies in Turku (Swedish speaking city in Finland) and would love to improve it again. I am a Native German speaker and can help with that. My English is good through several stays in England, Ireland, Scotland and trough my international employer

Quais são suas habilidades?

- gardening: weeding, seeding, building a path with woodchips, … ( a few examples of my WWOOfing time). Open to work with new tools (if you show me)
- cleaning stables: working with dirt and making a nice bed is something I‘ve learned as a horse girl
- care for animals: handling different kind of animals, horses, cats, dogs, hedgehogs, cattles. I think I am a thoughtful but yet hand-on person especially when it comes to animals
- creative work: used to work in marketing, Social Media, Web, Print advertising is nothing new to me. But I am honest: I prefer not to sit in front of the laptop (at least not most of the time)

My biggest strength is that I am open for new experiences, love to learn new skills and listen to other people when they tell me their story.
