UPDATE 05/24 (pls also consider old description below - still accurate and up to date):
Have been in Canada for almost 1 year and since last November in Vernon, BC.
FUTURE PLANNING:
My Work Permit expires end of May so I have to stop working for payment. Applied for a Visitor Record and planning to stay in Canada until September 24. Now looking for some new challenges at some other Workaways whatever suits and feels good. Have my own car so be able to reach out almost everywhere :) Looking for 2 to 4 weeks stays.

Have been doing three WorkAways so far:
1.) 7 weeks in Merrit, BC at a private Ranch with several private recidencies - landscaping and maintance in a bigger scale, gained also new roofing experiences with professional roofers
2.) 4 weeks in Vancouver Island, Nanaimo at a huge Bison Ranch doing everything what needed to be done - feeding Bisons with grain and hay, landscaping/tree prunning for 3km on service roads, prunning christmas trees for commercial sale, metal works with angle grinder, outdoor work everyday in heavy rain
3.) November 2023 until now: non-profit farm in Veron, BC - 2 weeks as WorkAwayer, then got hired and started as a Operation Manager for WorkAway: been responsible for whole farm and ongoing tasks, have been responsible as a Manager and Caretaker for almost 30 WorkAwayer as Supervisor and Contact Person for everything connected to farm work and communication between Owner and WorkAwayers and all the different needs and tasks.

I grew up in south-west Germany in both a rural village and a small city. As a kid I spent most of my time outside and did fun things. In schooltime I started skateboarding, so being used to city life as well. And I like both in good balance.
I have been in Canada since Middle of May was travelling with my Work-and-Holiday-Visa from east to west by train and bus (Toronto - Edmonton - Calgary - Banff - Edmonton - Vancouver - Vancouver Island) and in between a roadtrip by car (Vancouver - Kewlona - Whistler - Squamish - Vancouver), which was a great trip so far!
Now I am in beautiful BC and are looking for another highlight. I would love to help out somebody on their daily business on bigger things like a farm or a winery. Especially at a winery I could bring in some skills due to my work experience, but of course I am not limited to this. Beside of that I also could imagine to work for a hostel or Bnb to do things like gardening or maintenance. My parents' two houses have been expanding my bag of experience a lot, I do there almost everything for ~15 years now.
I am open-minded and want to see, what chances and oppertuities there are :)
I also love animals and would be happy, when you had a dog and/or cat! :)

Quais são suas habilidades?
What could I work? Almost everything: Landscaping/Gardening, Housekeeping, Construction, Maintainance, Supervisor - like to use my brain and hands as well.
I like to teach myself in crafts and love to do things on my own. I could gain a big bag of experiences - for example I was doing housekeeping and renovated and reconstructed two houses with and for my parents. So I am experienced in many different ways that involves physical work like rip out screed for new underfloorheating, rip out door frames, rip off wallpaper from wall and roof and so on. Additionally I have been doing lots of paintwork, garden work, housekeeping and small electrical work and projects with plasterboard and wood.
While working on differents projects, I learned to handle drill machines and big Hiltis and other electric an non electric tools. And last but not least general problem solving, persistence and patience :)
Then, to let you know, on the vocational site is:
an Apprenticeship as management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade and
a Bachelor Degree in business adminstration with focus on marketing and sales.
I worked 7 years in this area as Sales Clerk and Management Assistant for "Rolf Willy" - a family-owned company which is producing and selling great German wine. I also gained 1 year experience as an internal sales representative in puplic and privat waste processing for another family-owned business - great experience!
I'm a very quick learner and strive for new experiences. A large part of my motivation for doing a workaway is both to share my skills and help out as good as I can and learn new skills to expand my bag of experience.

I'm very sporty, having done skateboarding and running for 20 years. Unfortunately I quited because it`s to demanding due to a joint issue. But got alternatives :)
Additionally, I have a keen interest in music and photography. I love spending my time listening to electronic music and hip-hop and taking pictures with my smartphone or my Sony Alpha wherever I end up :)
