Hey. I'm Pia, 22 years old from Leipzig, Germany. I just got my degree in occupational therapist & am ready to see some more from the world. I'm a very social, open-minded, curious and sometimes crazy person, who is close to nature, has some sense of humor and can find anything positive in every situation. My hobbies are doing sports (like basketball, cycling, fitness exercises and Frisbee), playing music (with my guitar or drums) and reading and creating things (like pottery, basketry or carving). I'm very interested in politics, philosophy, psychology, any science and arts.
Some of my former working experiences: I worked nearly a year in a special school for kids with difficulties in social and emotional development. I also participated in a project in which we created a theater play with teenagers with mental disabilities. As part of my job education I worked in different institutions like practices, clinics and workstations for disabled people. Furthermore, I'm volunteering in a left winged, anarchist social club which organizes punk rock concerts, social kitchen and providing our house for different groups and projects. I'm mostly at the bar or in the organization.
Moreover, I grew up with many animals, such as cats, dogs, geese, rabbits and many more. Since I was 17, I used to manage the whole household by my own. My brother helped me with the garden. He is a farmer and has taught me some things about plants and animals.
I already did some different workaways for instance childcare, living in a community, working in an NGO & doing small hand craft works.
Nevertheless, I'm still willing to learn many new skills and languages throughout great adventures in various countries. At the end, I wanted to mention that I'm looking for people who are not only interested in my work, but also in me as a individual. People who will bring me smoothly into their way of living. I want to use workaway for learning things about (organic)farming/permaculture, carpentry & participating in charity projects. Thanks for reading:]
