Hello! My name is Giacomo Buglia, and I’m an italian passionate traveler, always looking for new adventures and experiences. I believe that travel is not just about exploring new places but also about connecting with different cultures, learning from others, and sharing meaningful moments with people from all walks of life. For me, the most exciting part of traveling is the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone and dive into new environments. Whether it's discovering a small village, getting involved in local traditions, or learning a new skill, I’m always eager to explore what each destination has to offer. I thrive on cultural exchange, and I enjoy meeting people who can offer fresh perspectives on life, work, and the world around us.
I’ve had the privilege of working in the sustainability field for many years, and this has taught me the importance of respecting local environments and communities. I hold a Master’s degree in Food Safety and have worked as an administrator for a biology-based company, but it’s the human connections I’ve made throughout my career that have truly enriched my experiences. I’m always excited to combine my professional background with a passion for learning and exploring new cultures.
One of the things I enjoy most about travel is the ability to contribute to local communities. Whether it’s through helping with hands-on projects, supporting local businesses, or simply sharing my knowledge and experiences, I’m always looking for ways to be a positive part of the places I visit. I am an energetic individual with a diverse skill set in agriculture, gardening, and culinary arts. Living and working on a winery in Italy has given me a deep understanding of both farming and wine production. I am also a skilled chef and pastry maker specializing in traditional Italian cuisine. Currently, I work as a researcher in high-quality beer brewing, blending science with craftsmanship. With hospitality experience in Italy, Wales, France, and the Czech Republic, I enjoy meeting new people and providing excellent service. I'm passionate about sports like boxing, basketball, and gym training, and in my free time, I enjoy painting and socializing over a good aperitif.
