Good morning/evening, My name is Callum Mark Brindley, as of writing this recently aged 23!
I have worked since the age of 18, finding myself in many interesting roles jobs and hobbies between sterile pharmaceutical work and finding myself as a summer camp councillor for a private school, and i have finally found myself in a position where it is time to break free and travel.
I was raised on a farm in the English countryside around lots of animals and free space to roam around, grew up in a small countryside town called Macclesfield and never really left outside of lads holidays and city breaks.

My hobbies include bouldering, rock climbing, and reading old philosophy books. As of late, I find myself attracted to the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Friedrich Nietzsche, but books only hold my attention for so long before I need to head outdoors and explore again.

I have an amicable, jovial, and self expressive personality. I enjoy nothing more than meeting new and exciting people, and in general manage to keep a merry and optimistic outlook despite how focused and pragmatic I can be.

French, German, and Spanish since those are languages I have a base familiarity with. But as with anything, given the opportunity of an extended stay I try and learn as much as I can. I am also open to any lessons in languages both formal and informal. As for teaching English, as long as someone has a base level understanding I can certainly help them get by.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My first taxable income work was as a COVID 19 multi skilled operator for the NHS during 2020 to 2022. During this time I was placed in a customer facing area working 13 hour shifts in a highly turbulent and stressful workplace. It wasn't easy but I'm grateful to everyone I worked with for helping shape my work ethic into what it is today, the attitude of "if it must be done, then we do it."

My second place of work was far more relaxed, working for a corporation called AstraZeneca as part of their private in house covid testing unit.I spent this time in pseudo supervisor role managing and working with contracted staff to keep the operation mostly independent of the larger company we were contracted from, SODEXO.

Briefly, I worked with children at a private school called beech hall, but as the company which this service was contracted from no longer exists for reference (if required) I choose not to include this for experience.


Working at AstraZeneca as service operator on ZOLADEX was intense. we produced a medicine in a totally sterile environment, wearing full clean suits which had to be donned without touching the outside. My duties were more self motivated, creating your own schedule and working around other teams to keep the aseptic area sterile and up to high GMP standards.

Finally, at my current position back at AstraZeneca, I am housekeeper in an archiving building. I work wholly by myself and manage my own work load, organise my own delivery of supplies, keep the older office workers happy with fresh coffee (Shout out to my french press) and pass strict audits, internal and external, consistently. I have an excellent work relationship with my bosses and office workers and encourage that any character references come from them, as they will give the most current and accurate depictions of me as I am at my best.

As for outside work, as a rock climber I'm not at all afraid of heights, and can work with harnesses belays and ropes. I've kept tarantulas, millipedes, snakes, scorpions, and pretty much any strange invertebrate you can think of. This along with being raised on a farm means I don't spook easy with animals.
I also help my family manage the property they own, clearing out flats, removing carpets, working with basic tools and a general awareness of electricity in regards of not blowing myself up.

I can also drive manual, though I have never driven outside of the UK.

I love card games like UNO and Selfish, though I am also very good at cheating in UNO so be forewarned. I play chess well and always travel with a board on me, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching people to play.
I have experience rock climbing and bouldering, with a decent familiarity with the associated equipment.
