Hello everybody! I am Francesca, I am 29 years old and I live in Northern Italy, in a very little village in the mountains (Dolomites). I love travels, nature (hiking), history and culture and also spending time with friends, reading books and watching movies. In the last time I have become interested in healthy practices such as meditation and the holistic approach to individual well-being. I am a member of the folkloristic group of my area that proposes traditional musics and dances. I graduated first in Languages for tourism (English and Spanish) and then in Cultural Tourism Management and I experienced an Erasmus Traineeship in Seville (Spain) two years ago. It was an amazing experience that allowed me to fall in love with Spain and to meet people from all around the world. I really would like to spend some time abroad again, not simply as a tourist but really experiencing everyday life in other countries, meeting people and discovering local culture. So I really hope to be able to make my dream come true with workaway platform!


¡Hola a todos! Soy Francesca, tengo 29 años y vivo en el norte de Italia, en un pequeñito pueblo en las montañas (Dolomitas). Me encanta viajar y descubrir otros rincones del Mundo, la naturaleza, hacer senderismo, pero también la historia, el arte y la cultura asì como salir con mis amigos, leer libros, ver pelìculas. Últimamente me he interesado a prácticas saludables como la meditación y el enfoque holístico al bienestar individual. Formo parte del grupo folclórico de mi zona que ofrece música y bailes tradicionales. Me gradué primero en Idiomas para el turismo (Inglés y Español) y luego en Gestión de Turismo Cultural y hice unas prácticas de Erasmus Traineeship en Sevilla hace dos años. Fue una experiencia increíble que me permitió enamorarme de España y conocer a gente de todo el mundo. Realmente me gustaría volver a pasar algún tiempo en el extranjero, no simplemente como turista, sino experimentando realmente la vida cotidiana en otro paíse, conociendo gente y descubriendo la cultura local. ¡Así que espero poder cumplir este sueño gracias a la plataforma workaway!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a very serious, responsible and respectful person. I am a voluntary rescuer so I have first aid knowledge. While studying I used to work in the summer as a waitress in a little family-run hotel. In Spain during my Erasmus Traineeship I worked for a tour agency dealing with phone calls, customer communications and complains, tickets management for the different tours. In the last two years I spent the winter seasons working in a skipass office. At the moment, during the summer, I work in a local museum, managing the cultural events, the guided visits of groups, social media profiles, .... so I have experience in dealing with people and working in team. I am also quite good in all the main houseworks since I have lived alone and also with other students in different occasions, and I also like very much cooking! In the past I helped youngs and children in the school homeworks as a tutor sometimes, I always try to do my best and put all my effort in the things I do, even in new situations.

Soy una persona muy seria, responsable y respetuosa. Soy socorrista voluntaria por lo que tengo conocimientos de primeros auxilios. Mientras estudiaba solía trabajar en verano como camarera en un pequeño hotel. En España durante mis prácticas Erasmus trabajé para una agencia de viajes ocupándome de las llamadas telefónicas, comunicaciones y reclamaciones de los clientes, gestión de entradas para los diferentes tours. En los dos últimos años pasé las temporadas de invierno trabajando en una oficina de skipass. Actualmente, durante el verano, trabajo en un pequeño museo local, gestionando los eventos culturales, las visitas guiadas de grupos, los perfiles en las redes sociales, .... por lo que tengo experiencia en el trato con la gente y el trabajo en equipo. También soy buena en todas las tareas domésticas principales ya que he vivido sola y también con otros estudiantes en diferentes ocasiones, ¡y también me gusta mucho cocinar! En el pasado ayudé a jóvenes y niños en los deberes del colegio como tutora algunas veces, Siempre intento hacerlo lo mejor posible y poner todo mi esfuerzo en las cosas que hago, incluso en situaciones nuevas.
