We both graduated this summer and are currently traveling through Skandinavia together to explore the culture, the landscape and the language.

The two of us, Anne and Finja, finished school this summer and are now traveling through Scandinavia together.
However, in January we will go our separate ways. Anne would like to spend a few months working in Austria to learn more about the city, its culture, and its people.

Finja will be in Spain starting in January and will continue her journey there. She’ll stay for almost two months and plans to travel to another country afterwards.

For clarification, the application for Austria has been submitted by Anne alone.
And only Finja is applying for positions in Portugal, Italy, and Spain.

Now we’d like to tell you a little bit about ourselves:

Hello, my name is Anne :)
I am 19 years old and live in Germany with my parents and my older brother. I graduated this summer, and before I begin studying psychology in 2026, I would like to take some time to explore the world.

I am a very active person, and sports and exercise—especially outdoors—help me stay balanced. I have practiced martial arts for several years and also enjoy fitness and weight training.

In recent years, I have worked as a hostess in the VIP area of a soccer stadium, where I gained valuable experience in interacting with people. I also worked at a winery behind the bar, which allowed me to broaden my horizons in the field of gastronomy.

My father enjoys doing handicrafts, and I have been helping him since I was a child. We also have a large garden that requires regular care, so I am used to consistent work and hands-on tasks.

I am an enthusiastic and curious person. Meeting people fascinates me, and I always enjoy learning about their perspectives. My curiosity drives me to discover other countries and experience new cultures. My native language is German, and I also speak English and a little French.



Hey, my name is Finja. ☺️
I’m 20 years old and live with my family in Germany. I am the oldest of three sisters, so I’m used to always having a lot of people around me.

After graduating from school this summer, I decided to take some time to travel to different countries around the world and gain new experiences. After that, I plan to study psychology.

I am a curious and open-minded person, and I love discovering new cultures, traditions, landscapes, and languages. I enjoy being around people, engaging in conversations, getting to know others, and exchanging ideas. At the same time, I appreciate moments of peace and love spending time in nature.

In my free time, I love dancing and even teach dance classes myself. I also enjoy going for walks, practicing yoga, and reading. I like cooking as well, especially because I have celiac disease and follow a gluten-free diet. I’ve learned how to live with this diet without feeling like I’m missing out, and by now I know a lot about cooking gluten-free meals.

My native language is German. I also speak English and some Spanish, and I’m excited to continue improving my language skills.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Anne has experience in the catering sector due to her Jobs and is also skilled in renovation, handicrafts, and gardening. During the trip through Scandinavia, Anne also gained experience with babysitting and childcare.

Finja has gained some experience in the hospitality industry over the past few years through various jobs. She also has a lot of experience working with young children, as she grew up with little sisters and worked as a babysitter for many years. In addition, she teaches dance classes for young children.
During her trip through Scandinavia, she also gained experience in house-sitting, household chores, cooking, farm work, and working with animals.

We are both highly organized, enjoy cooking—especially together—and love trying new things. We both speak fluent German and are excited to share our knowledge with others.

Moreover, we are open-minded, kind, responsible, and motivated individuals who are always ready for new challenges. We look forward to learning new things and gaining valuable experiences.

We both love being around animals. Finja has always wanted to have a pet of her own and to learn how to ride.
Anne had rabbits, once rode and is used to contact with animals.

We enjoy spending our time doing outdoor activities such as hiking, surfing, swimming, and paddling. We especially love exploring nature that’s different from what we know at home, and we’re always curious to learn and discover new things.
