Hola compañeros! I'm 25 from Bristol, UK and currently in Spain on my first proper solo travelling experience. Doing this not only to escape the depressing English winter(!) but to have an opportunity to gain some insightful, expansive and, at times I'm sure, challenging working experience in settings that are new to me.
I have always been drawn to Spain - I have family in Santander and spent 3 months living and working in Sevilla last winter. I absolutely love the country's history, culture, food and the warmth of its people. I want to use this time to explore parts of the country I have not visited and further strengthen my Spanish.
I am most at home and comfortable when I'm outside. Any opportunity to explore and connect in new landscapes and habitats brings me enormous peace and comfort. Because of this I have a real love for outdoor work. Horticulture, organic food growing, re-wilding and permaculture are big interests of mine which I want to develop more skills in. I'm an inquisitive and passionate person and get a lot of joy challenging myself and learning.
I consider myself someone who carries themselves on a basis of kindness, respect and care for people around me. I am a calm and patient person who loves to discuss and analyse the world with others, but really value my quiet alone time too. I am ultimately a sensitive soul which I think gives me valuable perspective of the world, but sometimes means I can take a little longer to come out of my shell.

Quais são suas habilidades?
I have a good level of experience in organic growing of fruits and vegetables from work and volunteering in community gardens and allotments. This includes seed sowing, weeding, harvesting, pruning, preparation and use of organic fertilisers, basic compost care, watering etc. These things I am confident doing with some guidance about your specific needs and the site/space available.
I did some volunteering to help build a dry stone wall a few years ago, really enjoyed it and would love to get more experience with this as well as other areas of construction!
I'm physically fit and used to manual work outdoors. Over this summer/Autumn I've been working in grounds maintenance for local council, this means I'm very capable with grass cutting using lawnmowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers - I'm officially trained in all of these electrical equipment too.
I have a good level of Spanish that gets me by in conversations, which means I'm comfortable speaking and working in Spanish only - but speaking slowly is appreciated to help me with this!
I worked as a teaching assistant in Sevilla for 3 months this year, the classes were to teach kids about food growing and the environment. This means I'm happy working around children, helping with work that has more of an educational focus and making educational resources too.
I have some experience in basic house maintenance and repairs, mainly from helping friends and family with restorations - things like sanding, painting and decorating. I'd love to get some more experience with power tools for repair purposes to improve my confidence.
Overall I have a good variety of skills to offer but more than anything have a real enthusiasm to learn and help with whatever needs doing!

I love food and cooking and talking about delicious things!! Any opportunity to help with meals or learn new recipes makes me really happy.
Also practice daily yoga as a way to relax and find peace from the day, but have more of a basic level which I would love to improve!
Cycling is a real love of mine and one of my favourite ways to explore and get around.

She is down to earth, practical, easy to communicate with and happy to get on with any job .
She also takes initiative and has a straight forward approach to everything.
