Hi

My name is David. I’m Australian from a coastal town on the East Coast called Coffs Harbour. I grew up in the country, but have lived most of my adult life in the city of Brisbane. I thought I was being a rebel quitting my job and going on sabbatical, but since having done so I have found many a kindred spirit.

I’ve spent the last 4 months in Thailand practicing yoga. I have 200 hrs teacher training in Swara Yoga (breath focused) and 100 hrs in Yin Yoga. It was a great experience, I approached it with an open mind and I’ve learnt so much spiritually and academically about the physical body and connecting with people and nature. Surprisingly nearly everyone I practiced with was European. I got along with everyone so well I felt that was a message, go to Europe.

I want to go to Europe to connect with nature and with people. Staying in a context where I can work for accomodation gives a greater meaning to the journey.

Along with the yoga, I bring drawing and drafting skills (I worked professionally as a CAD modeller for building fitouts, I also have excellent pencil on paper drawing skills), I’m a qualified Industrial Designer, I can play rhythm guitar and I’ve done Kahuna Massage courses up to Cert III.

I was working as a drafter in the construction industry. Mainly on fit outs for bars, cafes, hotel lobbies etc.
I have planning and design skills with both computers and practical (pencil paper, models) I’m good at drawing from imagination of buildings, products, people etc.
International Drivers License
Good with graphics on computers, Adobe photoshop, 3D software
I’m fit from all the yoga, so physical labour to a point is no problem.
