I'm an active, curious, native English speaker. I've just taken early retirement from my job as an English teacher in an international school in Germany and am now looking for opportunities to travel and experience the culture and language of Spain in a fully immersive way as part of a family or community.
Friends and colleagues say that I'm enthusiastic, energetic and hard-working and always willing to join in and help.The joy of my job was the connection to young people and what interests me most about workaway is the chance to meet people; to share how they live, to hear what they think and to enjoy the exchange of ideas that takes place when you meet someone new.
I love cycling and hiking and being out in nature but also appreciate the art and cultural benefits city life has to offer.
