Hi! We're Cristhian, a 29-year-old guy from Uruguay, South America and Nikolett a 37-years old girl from Hungary. We're a curious, adventurous and easy-going people who loves discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds and trying things we've never done before.
We're originally from Fray Bentos, a small city in Uruguay, and Debrecen also a small city in Hungary, but travelling has become a big part of our life. Over the last few years we've had the chance to live abroad, travel around Europe and South America, and now we're starting a new adventure through Asia. We don’t really like travelling with everything planned — We enjoy leaving some space for unexpected experiences and seeing where the road takes us.
( Cris) I’m a tattoo artist, and creativity is a big part of who I am. I love drawing, creating things and working with people. I also play guitar, Music has always been another way for me to express myself, and I really enjoy those simple moments of sitting with a guitar, playing some music and sharing it with other people.
Tattooing has taught me to be patient, responsible and very attentive to detail, but also how to connect with completely different kinds of people. Through both tattooing and music, I’ve found that creativity is a great way to connect with others, even when you don’t speak the same language...
(Nikki) I’ve always loved creative things and making a place feel warm and alive. I really enjoy painting, decorating and taking care of plants — I used to have quite a little jungle at home! I love putting my own touch into things and finding beauty in simple details.
Yoga also became a really special part of my life. I found a lot of peace through practising, and I’m still learning and practising whenever I can. In the future, I’d really love to explore it more deeply and learn more about the different sides of yoga and mindfulness.
I think I’m happiest when I can create something, take care of something, or simply make the space around me feel a little nicer.
One of the things We enjoy most about travelling is the people we meet along the way. we're always interested in learning about different cultures, trying local food, hearing people’s stories and sharing experiences. We're quite social and usually find it easy to connect with people, but we also appreciate quiet moments and having time to ourselves.
We strongly believe that travelling is not only about taking photos or visiting tourist attractions. For us, it’s about actually experiencing a place, understanding how people live and becoming a little more open-minded with every experience.
We're interested in learning new skills and helping wherever we can. We're not afraid of getting our hands dirty, doing physical work, cleaning, cooking, helping with projects or simply doing whatever needs to be done. If there’s something We don’t know how to do, We're usually happy to give it a try.
We're new to Workaway, so we're really excited to start this part of my journey. We see volunteering as a great way to slow down, connect with local people and experience a country from a completely different perspective than a normal tourist.
At the moment, we're travelling through Asia and looking for meaningful experiences, good people and new stories to take home with us.
We don’t know exactly where this journey will take us and honestly, that’s one of the things we like most about it. 😊

Our native languages are Spanish (Cristhian) and Hungarian (Nikki) , and we both speak English and I also speak Portuguese ( Cristhian ) We are very interested in learning new languages and would love to improve our language skills while travelling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.

We both have experience in different kinds of jobs and enjoy learning new skills. We have worked in hospitality, construction, customer service and other practical jobs. We are responsible, adaptable and hard-working, and we are always happy to help with whatever is needed. We also have experience working with people and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
