Hello :)

The short version: My name is Claire, I come from France (Lyon) and I am seeking for a meaningful experience abroad, especially in Asia. I remain very open for the destination, what counts the most for me is the project :)

The longer (and hopefully more interesting one) version: I have always been very serious about my studies with a deep desire to secure my future life, at a financial level with an impactful job. My last internship just ended, I will soon get my diploma and start my professional life. Nevertheless, something is missing: travelling, meeting new people and most importantly helping others.
I really hope to join a nice project with Work Away to make my skills useful and open myself to new environments. I am a very curious, adaptable and open-minded girl and I believe that we all have a lot to learn from each other :)

My absolute hobby: drawing! Most of my illustrations are posted on an Instagram page called @simple.comme.bonjour, "Simple comme bonjour" being a french saying meaning "easy as pie". I indeed draw very simple stuff to illustrate french puns and sayings inspired by podcasts, the news or music lyrics. I would also love to illustrate stories people tell me (like a comic) because I genuinely love listening to others' life and think that some stories deserve to be crystallized with art!

A cause that I am really engaged with: sustainable fashion! Since my bachelor (2016), I question a lot the fashion industry and its common bad impact on the planet and on people (mading or wearing the clothes...). I joined the NGO Fashion Revolution, which operates on a global scale to contribute to raising awareness of these problematics, but I want to go further and would really love to contribute to projects making the fashion industry more virtuous (or less harmful, depends if you see the glass half-full or half-empty!)

Other interests: plant-based food, ayurveda, massage, yoga, pilates, ceramic (I am by the way currently helping a french ceramic building bags in porcelain with her brand!)...
