Hey there,
We are travelers, volunteers and DIYers in our early 30s and we are looking forward to help with your project.
As workawayers we have helped with projects such as:
* animal care (cleaning stables and pastures, feeding, alpaca training...)
* gardening (sowing, weeding, lawn care, pruning...)
* home diy (painting walls & furniture, finishing moldings, sanding & painting wood surfaces...)
* yard work, small repairs
* cooking and meal preparation
* house cleaning & organization
* pet sitting, house sitting
We also have experience with:
* drywalling and spackling
* plastering, painting
* building simple wooden structures (f.e. shelving)
* simple brick work
* harvesting and preserving food
* handicrafts: sewing, knitting
* artistic painting
* IT
Our background:
We live in a 100 years old house with a vegetable garden and orchard. We are doing all the repairs and remodeling on the house ourselves. While travelling long time by bicycle, we made excellent experience with other community platforms (warmshowers, couchsurfing), both hosting and visiting.
Our expectations:
We want to help and always try to learn and seek inspiration. We respect your family and your house rules and are flexible.
We wish for clear and fair arrangement regarding the work hours and free time. We ask to provide appropriate tools and protective equipment to ensure safety.
Typically we are interested to get to know our hosts and bring the experience farther then just simple business transaction. We are also very capable to arrange our free time for ourselves.

We are so glad we hosted Miroslava & Matej. They did a tremendous amount of work in our garden and yard. They work hard with little supervision. They helped us plant a winter garden and helped get our raised beds ready for the planting. They also clipped a dead bush, weeded, swept and so much more. And their meals are delicious! We had a very nice time with Susan and Vanesa. They took us sightseeing and showed us around and we had good fun together. We did some smaller and a couple bigger projects around the house and yard. Mirka and Mat'o were wonderful. They settled into our household rhythm quickly, and soon became part of the household. They are both intelligent, witty, and quite funny. Mirka and Mato are very nice and handy. We spent together more than a week and we had a nice time cooking and eating as well as working. When I had to do my own chores, they were independent and initiative with tasks needed to be done. I really appreciated their help and enjoyed their company as friends :-)
