Hi! I'm Chisaki from Japan.
Starting in May 2025, I’m traveling the world to explore different cultures and ways of living.
After 13 years of working as a high school English teacher, I decided to follow my heart. I took a yoga teacher training course in India for one month, and will continue the journey to Africa to experience its people, culture, and beautiful nature.
I feel happy when I connect with others, learn new things, and stay active through yoga, walking, and sports.
Through Workaway, I hope to support hosts, grow through new experiences, and enjoy meaningful moments around the world.

I have a strong passion for language learning and teaching. I taught English to junior high and high school students in Japan for 13 years, helping them improve their communication skills and confidence. I love creating fun, interactive ways to learn languages, especially through conversation, games, and cultural exchange. I also studied English for one year at the University of Victoria in Canada, where I met people from all over the world—Europe, Asia, South America, and more. We often shared our own languages and cultures, and that experience made learning both fun and meaningful. Since then, I’ve been very interested in learning new languages and connecting with people through communication. I enjoy both teaching and learning, and I believe language is a powerful way to build bridges across cultures.

I have 13 years of experience working as a public high school English teacher in Japan. During that time, I not only taught English but also supported students through coaching and extracurricular activities like volleyball.
I’m confident in communication, organizing tasks, and working as part of a team. I love connecting with people and supporting them with a warm, positive attitude.
I'm currently training to become a certified yoga teacher, and I enjoy leading or joining activities that involve movement, like stretching, walking, or playing sports.
I’m also flexible and willing to learn new tasks, whether it’s helping with cleaning, working with children, or assisting with daily routines. I'm excited to share my skills and learn from others as well.

I love traveling and experiencing different cultures—it makes me feel alive and connected.
I also enjoy spending time in nature, doing yoga, listening to music, and having a good cup of coffee.
In my free time, I like reading, watching movies, walking dogs, practicing Japanese calligraphy, and helping out in the family vegetable garden.
I'm always curious to learn new things and love sharing moments with people from all walks of life in a relaxed, open way.
