Hi there! My name is Cheah Yi, and i'm so happy to meet you! :)

I'm from Malaysia, a tropical, multiracial country in the middle of Southeast Asia. I am currently in the 3rd year of my medical studies, working part time to travel during my semester breaks!

I love reading, cycling, bouldering, music, movies, philosophy, puzzles, spending time with my family and more!

My friends describe me as fun, kind, curious, and full of energy! I enjoy exploring, learning, creating, thinking, taking up new challenges, and connecting with people. I view all experiences to be meaningful, and love seeking out ways to enrich myself, and to give back whatever and whenever I can!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Caring for children
- I come from a large family with many cousins, nieces and nephews, so I have experience in caring for children! I am patient, responsible, and young at heart too, and would love spending time with children!

Tutoring
- I have experience tutoring children and youth with special needs in Maths, Science and English!
- I also have experience volunteering in a language exchange cafe in Korea, teaching English :)

Healthcare volunteering
- I have first aid training, and I volunteer in healthcare organisations in my free time!

Retail
- I worked in a retail shop, and have experience in customer service and cashiering!

Promoting
- I work as a sales promoter occasionally, and have ample experience as a promoter! I convey ideas well and connect with people easily :)

Event management
- I am an active student in school, joining many students organisations and events. I enjoy working in a team, planning and executing events, and running organisations. I also have experience in taking up leadership positions, which has sharpened my decision making skills, communication and leadership skills.

Cleaning
- I have good attention to detail, am efficient, and have good experience cleaning and keeping a place tidy!

Cooking
- I'm not very good at cooking, but I know the basics and can make a few simple dishes!

Video editing
- I used to be a video editor of my school's film society :)

Website making
- I have some experience designing and managing websites!

If there are any other skills required, I'd be happy to learn them! I am adaptable, and love learning new things!
