"Hi !
We are Charlotte and Cédric, from France and we are 27 and 28.
We are willing to discover Ireland, its rich culture and history!
We are also particularly interested in learning more about animal care, gardening, permaculture, construction and woodworking.
Charlotte:
I work in culture (concerts organization), and I am currently between two jobs.
In my spare time I often go to concerts, in pubs or small venues, and I am really interested in experimental music. And love sharing this passion with others!
I also love spending time outside, around nature and with animals, and hiking.
Some of my other interests include cooking, reading, gardening, horse riding, …
I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, goats and chicken, so I know how to take care of them, and I would be more than happy to do it again! And I'm certainly not afraid to get my hands dirty!
Moreover, I have been horse riding for about 10 years. I had to stop a few years ago for my studies, but I am still a quite good rider and very at ease with ponies and horses.
I would describe myself as an independent, self-motivated and well-organized person, who is always eager to participate in any project that aligns with my interests. I’m also an enthusiastic person who enjoys to discuss around a good meal.
Cédric :
I work in the timber construction sector as a wood engineer. Currently on a break between jobs, I'm looking for an experience in Ireland to combine my passion for wood construction with an enriching cultural exchange.
I love woodworking, particularly handmade techniques such as hewing and working with axes, and I have a basic understanding of these skills. I’m always eager to expand my knowledge in construction and woodworking, especially in traditional methods.
Beyond my passion for woodwork, I’m also fascinated by linguistics, history, and music, with a special love for Celtic music. I’m hardworking, adaptable, and excited to contribute to meaningful projects while learning from new experiences.
Looking forward to meeting like-minded people and being part of something great!

I stayed for about 4 weeks (I think that is the minimum required to get to know the ponies), in a small and cosy cottage next to his house, at the foot of a beautiful hill.
