Hi. I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and have plans to travel until the end of April - middle of May. I am presently in Loutraki Greece until Jan. 20 and then had thought of Turkey for a month, Portugal for another month and France (where I was born) for the last few months. I must be back in Canada by the middle of May, latest. I enjoy people but also need time to myself to re-energize. I am spiritual. An outdoor person through and through: tree hugger-, gardener, lover of animals, boater, cyclist, and camper. I may not follow recipes well but I do enjoy cooking with the reward of long conversations at the dinner table. I like laughing even though lots of jokes go over my head. When I travel I like to be with the locals in non-touristy spots. I've always said that if I wanted to travel with North Americans I'd save the plane fare and rent a room at the Hilton. I enjoy people and listening to their stories. I love grocery stores in foreign countries and can't wait to visit spice and textile markets.
