Hi! My name is Carla and I am a 25 year old from Berlin, Germany. I will be in New Zealand until February 2027. The first few months I will be in the Auckland area and later make my way down to Wellington for the remainder of my time in NZ.

I enjoy working outdoors, in gardens, or on diy projects. In general, helping out brings me joy and I consider myself thoughtful and responsible and am looking forward to new experiences. I like exploring unfamiliar areas and I am excited to explore New Zealand, as I've never traveled to New Zealand before. In my free time I love to hike in nature and explore different cities/towns.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have previous experience as a live-in volunteer at a charity for people experiencing homelessness, as well as at a farm where I lived and worked with people with developmental disabilities. My work for the charity involved prepping food and hot drinks, handing them out on the streets and checking in with people. At the farm I gained skills in gardening, various construction projects, and a number of crafty endeavors. Most importantly, though, I gained skills related to how to communicate and engage with a variety of different people with different personalities and strengths.
