Descrição

We are Cal and Jenny, a British/Irish couple who left the UK in 2023 to enjoy life a little bit more slowly. We've spent 2 years round Asia and the last 12 months in Australia.

We enjoy meeting new people, exchanging stories, and finding ways we can help each other. We both enjoy the outdoors, particulars being out on the water, and miss being able to tend to the garden we left behind in the UK.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Both our professional backgrounds are in Finance and IT, but back home we were both very passionate about being outdoors. We spent a lot of our free time gardening, doing lanscaping and being out on the water. We enjoy cooking (one of us is vegetarian) with fresh ingredients, or catching our own fish to eat.

Over the last 12 months in Australia we have enjoyed volunteering and donating our time to do:
- Gardening, lanscaping, pond building
- Ride-on mowing, tractor driving
- Horse and other small farm animal care
- Pet and house sitting
- General DIY/labouring

Unique opportunity with the beautiful Liz and Louie clearing the bush that surrounds their stylish house. We spent 5 days helping to clear back the asparagus fern, lady of the night garden, and ginger plants. Cosy room, lovely heated floor bathroom and tidy kitchen to use. Both are well organised and highly skilled in the garden and always managed their tasks very well. The hedge was shredded into smithereening.
