Two-for-one deal! We are looking forward to helping our hosts with their projects - plus since we're a couple, you get 2 volunteers for the 'space' of one!
About us: We'are both engineers living in Houston, Texas, married, no children and & enjoy the adventure of travel. We volunteered in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey here in Houston, and also are ongoing volunteers for dog rescue (Italian Greyhounds). We learn quickly and have a strong work ethic. Having worked since we were teenagers, we're adaptable and have done an assortment of jobs - from serving & prepping at restaurants during school, to managing groups in both volunteer & corporate settings. We're also starting to learn Spanish.
Hopefully we can help you during our upcoming travels!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Bry is a handyman with traditional construction experience (he's roofed houses & remodeled our kitchen). He also has a graphic design hobby (Adobe), and could help out with logos, advertisements, etc. Oh, and he home-brews craft beer - because, you know - beer.
Lisa has a Masters degree in Business Administration. She also cooks, shops, and is good with home design, handicrafts and housekeeping. She can edge in a room for painting freehand having painted many of her own. She tutored English in college, has worked in restaurants, and can make a yummy gumbo or bake a dessert.
Both native English speakers, we spent February 2018 in a Spanish language immersion class to improve our communication skills before we travel further south. We have basic Spanish, but are not fluent. Necesitamos practicar!
