We're a relaxed, dynamic duo who thrive on being immersed in new environments and connecting with diverse cultures. We love learning new skills and applying our existing ones in fresh contexts. Challenging ourselves and stepping outside our comfort zones energizes us, and we're always eager to grow personally and professionally. Brooke- My aunt speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. Growing up she spent a lot of time teaching us. I have a basic understanding but am excited to learn any and all languages. I am happy to teach any English as well.Jacob- I have a deep passion for languages growing up with adopted siblings. My grandparents immigrated to the United States from Europe and through my family's love for languages I have also developed an interest. I have a passion for teaching and am eager to share my background as native English speaker.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Jacob-I have a background in hospitality and a love for crafting experiences for people. I have worked within food service, animal care, and education for children. My formal education is in art and design - I am a creative problem solver who loves exploring different methods of art making. My family owns a dog rescue and daycare for animals - I have worked around dog care for years growing up and have a deep love for animals.
Brooke- Growing up I attended a sports camp for 10 years with 1 year on kitchen crew. At this camp I acquired a large number of physical skillsets. Yard work/Gardening, low level wood working, and overall sustainability. I have a degree in communications/Social Media Marketing as well as a certification in hairstyling artistry. Working with my hands and communications are the core foundation for who I am. I housesat for about 6 months in California caring after animals and maintaining indoor and outdoor property.

A fun fact about us is we will eat almost anything and love cooking new foods. Our goal is to build beautiful connections with people of different cultures and backgrounds. Things that make us smile: music, surfing hiking, working with our hands, art and conversation.
