Hi, I am Brigi an open-minded and easy-going woman with grown up kids and a good and interesting life. I can offer my help with the everyday chores around the house, with childcare, petcare, I get on very well with people, also with teens and kids, and I can teach/practice English. I currently work as a mental trainer for athletes and students (adults and youth too) and I am also a Silva-mind method (stress-relief method) instructor for kids. My one-to-one clients are mostly athletes and students or adult people working on their self-esteem and on their confidence, so I have great experience in these fields.

I travel a lot, and in my 20's I lived in the Uk for a year. The previous years I have been raising my kids, who are now grown-ups, so I have a little more time to see the world. I am self-employed, so it is quite easy to organize my life to have a couple of weeks off. I am really energetic, I do a lot of sports and I race ultra-marathons (up to 80 km). I love nature, animals and plants. I read a lot and watch movies as well. I would prefer to reach Italy as a workawayer to practice my Italian, but I am open to visit other areas too. My first workaway experience was really marvellous, so I am really looking forward to the next one :)

I have registered for Workaway primarily to improve my Italian. In reading I am intermediate, but I would like to speak fluently. My English is very good (not native) and I have a lot of teaching experience from the earlier years of my career (also lots of teaching materials). So I can be a great help for improving communication or even for kids in their studies.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My original profession is Teacher of English, but the last 15 years I have been working as a mental trainer for athletes, a trainer for students and I do some kind of life coaching. I am also a qualified Silva-method instructor for 7-14 ys old children. In a nut-shell I help people to strengthen their confidence in any area of their lives.
I am self-employed, so I can organize my life as I wish. I keep group trainings and one-to-one sessions. I prepare athletes for their races and games mentally and students for their exams (how to cope with stress and challenges).
I was raised in a village and I have raised two kids as well, so I am quite natural around the house too.
