Hi everyone! My name is Bree, I am a 27 year old American music teacher living and working in an amazing bilingual school in Berlin, Germany. In addition to being a music teacher, I am a fitness instructor and lead rhythm cycling courses in a spinning studio here in Berlin. I have done many exchanges during my school holidays and would like to do another one this summer, something completely different and I am open to almost all locations.

Some experiences that I have had abroad have been first studying abroad in Vienna, then being an au pair with a fantastic family in Madrid (we are still in close contact, the dad was an opera singer so we sang and cooked together the whole summer :) ), and volunteering through workaway and the most fantastic hostel in Zagreb, Croatia. I moved abroad less than two weeks after graduating university, landed in a bilingual school in Stockholm, Sweden for three years and now am beginning my fourth year in Berlin. Additionally, I was set to volunteer in Rio in Brazil in the summer of 2020, but unfortunately covid canceled that adventure. I am active, open, easy to be around and here for new experiences, whatever they may be :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

Hey there! I'm Bree, a 27-year-old music lover with a passion for teaching and exploring the world. I’ve been living in Berlin for over three years now, where I teach music at a bilingual school and serve as the head of the music department for kids ages 6-13. I’ve also spent time in Stockholm, Sweden, doing the same job, and studied music abroad in Vienna. I had an incredible au pair experience in Madrid, and I’m still in touch with the family I lived with. Oh, and I also did a super fun Workaway experience volunteering in a hostel in Zagreb, Croatia!

When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me teaching rhythm cycling classes at an amazing spinning studio here in Berlin. I’m all about connecting with people, and I’m super active and extroverted—whether it’s playing ukulele, crocheting, getting my fitness on, cooking up a storm, or FaceTiming my pug, Coco, I love staying busy and making memories.

I’m a quick learner, easygoing, and love diving into new experiences, which is why I’ve built lasting relationships wherever I’ve been. This summer (July 26th to August 31st), I’m looking for something truly special to do during my school holiday. I’m open to traveling far and wide—basically, I’m looking for an authentic, connected experience that’s going to leave me with amazing memories. Let’s make it happen!
