Hello
I'm motivated by seeing animals suffering neglect and mistreatment. I have worked regularly for a shelter in Bulgaria over several years where dogs and cats are routinely abused and their lives considered worthless. Now I have retired. I intend to spend as much time as possible working to help as much as I can in the field of animal welfare. I am still strong and healthy, and now I have the time, I want to focus on being of use to organisations providing for both the physical and emotional needs of dog/cats/other animals and promoting their health and welfare to local communities. I'm happy to turn my hand to any tasks and flexible regarding hours of work. I believe I'm easy going, practical (I'm handy with a screw driver/saw/electric tools should the need arise), resilient and capable.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm very flexible and willing to do whatever needs doing for the welfare and comfort of animals and to help towards promoting more humane attitudes in whatever way possible. For the past 20+ years I've worked in fundraising roles for various charities, so have good admin and communication skills (although the rapidly changing social media landscape has left me far behind and this is not my strong point!). I am very happy to live/work alone as needed but equally happy to work with other like minded people.
