Hello! I’m Ben — a creative, adventurous, and adaptable individual eager to make a positive difference and learn from others. I’m easy-going and sociable, with a wide range of interests including hiking, swimming, cooking, reading, and watching movies. I come from the plains of Montana, east of the Rocky Mountains, where my family raises black angus cattle and targhee sheep. I have decided to go on sabbatical for the next year traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures and lifestyles. I’m open to all types of Workaway opportunities, but am particularly interested in hands-on experiences helping people or communities in some way.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have experience on the family ranch in Montana where we raise cattle and sheep on rotating pasture. We grow alfalfa and harvest native grass to feed during the harsh winters, so lots of experience with heavy machinery. Lots of experience with animals of all sorts. Worked many years in the service industry, from food and beverage to cleaning. Good with hands on activities and tend to pick things up quickly.
