Since childhood I have always been in love with animals and nature. My favorite hobbies are hiking, swimming, photography and reading. Me and my boyfriend recently adopted a kitten named Mooncake and spending time playing and cuddling with her makes me the happiest person in the world. I babysit a seven year old boy, Dante. He is very lively and smart.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am an empathic person and I have always needed to help others. This attitude has led me to mature different experiences of volunteering in the social field, such as a day-care centre for disabled people, a soup kitchen and a supermarket for poor and marginalised people.
Be involved in these realities allowed me to improve my communication and relational skills, especially to understand and pay attention to the needs of the most fragile people through caring and listening. During the last year I partecipated to a project of the Universal Civil Service entitled “Take care” in a healthcare structure dedicated to vaccinations. I worked at the front office and in the secretaryship. This experience has been extremely important for me both in terms of training and personal growth, also because I could understand how much I love to work with and surrounded by people.

When I was 21 years old I lost my father because of cancer. Since that moment my life has changed forever and I had to learn to look after myself, pulling out a strength and courage I never thought I had.
The pandemic and the following lockdown have called into question my certitudes about the future and challenged my university career. Ever since, I've been stuck and I couldn't find my place in the world anymore. For this reason I feel the need to make new experiences, to discover what is beyond my town and the borders of my country. I think that Workaway can be a starting point, an opportunity to test myself, overcome my limits and peacefully welcome the world to come.
