Salut !

Moi, c’est Bastien, 20 ans, curieux de tout et toujours partant pour de nouvelles expériences ! J’ai commencé des études de gestion à la Sorbonne, mais en ce moment, je fais une pause pour voir autre chose, apprendre autrement et rencontrer du monde.

J’ai grandi entouré de ma famille, avec deux frères (un plus grand, un plus petit) et un chien, donc j’ai l’habitude de partager mon espace et de m’adapter aux autres. J’ai aussi été scout pendant mon adolescence, ce qui m’a appris à être débrouillard, à aimer la nature et à toujours trouver une solution, même quand tout semble compliqué.

J’adore échanger, apprendre de nouvelles choses et filer un coup de main quand il faut. Hâte de vivre cette aventure et de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes !

I’m Bastien, 20 years old, always curious and ready for new experiences! I started studying management at the Sorbonne, but right now I’m taking a break to explore other things, learn differently, and meet new people.

I grew up surrounded by my family, with two brothers (one older, one younger) and a dog, so I’m used to sharing my space and adapting to others. I was also a scout during my teenage years, which taught me to be resourceful, love nature, and always find a way, even when things get tough.

I love exchanging ideas, learning new things, and lending a hand when needed. Can’t wait to dive into this adventure and meet some amazing people!

J’ai envie d’apprendre l’anglais en Irlande parce que rien ne vaut l’immersion pour progresser. Vivre sur place, échanger avec des locaux et découvrir leur culture me motive bien plus que des cours classiques. Et puis, l’Irlande a cette ambiance conviviale qui donne envie de s’y sentir chez soi tout en apprenant.

Quais são suas habilidades?

With solid experience in both the hospitality industry and team management, I am a versatile, reactive, and customer-oriented person.

In the restaurant sector, I worked as a bakery sales assistant for a month, which allowed me to develop strong customer service skills, manage high-traffic environments, and adapt to irregular working hours. I also worked at a waffle stand during a festival, handling long shifts under pressure while ensuring fast and efficient service. These experiences taught me the importance of organization, teamwork, and maintaining high standards to provide the best customer experience.

My involvement in scouting has also given me valuable leadership and problem-solving skills. As an assistant patrol leader, I was responsible for organizing and coordinating a team of six people, delegating tasks, and handling unexpected situations. This experience taught me resourcefulness, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility—essential qualities for working in a fast-paced and community-driven environment such as a youth hostel.

Thanks to these experiences, I can quickly adapt to different situations and enjoy working in places where human interaction and teamwork are essential.
