Hey, I'm Barbora. I am a teacher and facilitator of social events. I love to explore art, movement and theater. I love to be part of cocreating community and I'm someone who deeply cares for others. I am proactive and a quick learner who always wants to learn new skills.

I come from Slovakia, but for the last 5 years I have lived in a community in Denmark where we organize different social events, art workshops and take care of our garden and animals. From time to time, I pack my friends, some books, and a jewelry-making set and go on a travel, hitchhiking, staying in small places, and living with locals. Last year I have been nomadic.

I studied alternative pedagogy, worked with students with special needs in Denmark, public school in Malawi, and in Waldorf inspired school in Zimbabwe. I approach students as unique human beings and create a personal connection. In my studies, work, and life, I value mental health and equity. The biggest motivation for my work is helping the ones left behind, lonely, or in need.

My passions are different modalities of therapy, gender equality, theater, visual and plastic arts, jewelry making, improvised dance, and exploring nature...

I also have many experiences as a waitress, volunteer coordinator, event organizer, and farm worker, and with animals. I am always up to using all my skills and learning more.

I am looking for a place where I can contribute with my skills and learn at the same time.
I hope we will both benefit and learn from the time spent together and that we will create something good for the others.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I studied at the Necessary Teacher Training College which focuses on methods of holistic education. Providing me with the methods of student-centered learning, community learning, and learning through sensory engagement, like games and art.

Teaching experience:
- Teacher position in a class for students on the autism spectrum aged 13-18.
- Teacher and pedagogue assistant in a care home and school for children with challenges aged 8-15.
- Teaching grade 7 at primary school in Malawi
- Teaching Art, Theatre, English and Discussion club in Waldorf-inspired school in Zimbabwe
- Organization and leading summer camps, social events, and workshops.

I am an honest, calm, caring, empathetic, and self-aware person. My work is always responsible and reliable. I am not a complainer, rather a doer. I am good at communication, organization, and flexibility. I am aware of my abilities and I actively work on overcoming my challenges.

My weaknesses
I can be shy sometimes. I am also slightly perfectionist towards myself, which can work for both good and bad.
