Hi! I'm Ludo from Toulouse, France, and I've been a dedicated Workaway member for more than three years now.

My passion for traveling sparked in 2018 when I visited Laos with my father, as he was born there. What was supposed to be a three-month stay turned into an incredible eight-month adventure. I even landed a job as a restaurant manager—despite having zero experience in the field! That experience made me realize that anything is possible.

Since then, I’ve volunteered for five months at a transmedia cooperative in Athens, Greece, where I discovered my passion for creating videos that highlight meaningful projects. Along the way, I’ve also explored the world through hitchhiking, which has given me incredible encounters, unforgettable stories, and a deeper appreciation for human kindness.

A little more about me—I’ve been vegetarian for few years now and hold a bachelor's degree in multimedia project management. My hobbies include tasting delicious food, yoga, meditation, flying drones, and video editing. Through volunteering, I’ve gained hands-on experience in video production, cooking at yoga retreats, eco-building, and even a bit of permaculture.

I’d describe myself as a calm, reliable, and helpful person, always ready to lend a hand. I absolutely love the concept of volunteering and have been using online hospitality exchange platforms to create more authentic travel experiences—for myself and for others.

Through Workaway I hope to keep exploring the beauty of the world while contributing to it in a meaningful way!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Diploma : I have Bachelor degree in communication, markteting, graphic design.

So my experience :

1) Academics I am a hard worker, exhibited by my grades in University. I am proficient in almost all the adobe suite (illustrator, photoshop, premiere, indesign) as well as Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
2) Previous Experience Food Preparation (I was working in a restaurant in berlin)
In july I was volunteering in a festival in Russia maintained the camp through cleaning bathrooms, clearing trails, chopping wood, planting gardens, etc., and interacted with the guests to ensure their experience was enjoyable. I worked as waiter in a Restaurant in toulouse.
And I was also a bar manager during 6 months in Laos. This job was a large responsibility and it has taught me management. 3) Other Skills I believe my most useful skill is my agreeability. I get along well with everyone, and am always trying to make an environment a fun place. I will try anything and will have a smile on my face as I do it
