I am an enthusiastic, social person, currently travelling around Latin America. I left home in March 2023! I love dancing and any kind of acrobatic or movement discipline (I am a little monkey with lots of energy when it comes to dance or do some acrobatics!).
I love travelling, learning about different cultures, lifestyles, mindsets, and practicing different languages.
Last year I started giving somatic/healing dance workshops - something I would love to share with you and your community if there is interest! :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

### FARM AND FIELD WORK :

Part of my studies was about agronomy, the science of agriculture. Although most of it was theoretical, during those I worked for one month in a farm with sheep, cheese production and a few crops (France). I was milking the sheep, feeding them, taking them out to pastures and back. I was also helping on crops management and rotating pastures.

In 2023 I have volunteered for 2 weeks in a cacao farm (Finca Florida, Oaxaca, Mexico). Tasks were mainly about digging holes, planting new plants, watering, harvesting, opening cacao pods, cleaning some part of lands, and maintenance on the volunteers campsite.

I am used to help around for various tasks. For instance:
- I have been helping my mother who has created from scratch with her partner a permaculture farm in the South of France
- I have been helping friends on the renovation of an old traditional house
- I have been helping many times in gardening/cleaning land
- I have painted walls many times
- and more :)

### FOOD PRODUCTION / TRANSFORMATION / NUTRITION

I have scientific knowledge (through my master degree) on food production, transformation, food safety (bacterial risk hazard management etc), nutrition. I know nutrition mostly from the scientific, population-based approach, as opposed to the medical, individual approach (I’m not a dietician, sorry 😉).

During my experience at a sheep farm in France (mentioned earlier on) I was also working with the cheese production and selling at markets.

As a student I worked on various research projects involving food products innovation (vegetable roots crisps, research on Aquafaba which is cooking water from chickpeas…).

### DIY:

I have a practical mind and like to find creative solutions from what’s available. I know how to sew, to repair basic stuff.

### TOURISM:

I volunteered for 1.5 months in a 4-days tour island hopping on the San Blas islands (Panama). I was assisting the guide with communication with the guests, offering activities to entertain them, translating between Spanish and English, participating in cooking, washing dishes, loading/unloading boats, pre-trip
preparation (cleaning, groceries, guest briefing …)

I volunteered for 1.5 months at the reception and bar of a hostel in Cali, Columbia

### EVENTS / KIDS:

During my teenagehood I have worked in kids camps and have passed a certification for this. I loved creating activities for them, playing with my imagination and creativity.
During university I was also involved in a student association in charge of organizing events to connect students together (For instance a hitchhike competition around different towns in France)
During secondary school I was also volunteering with an autistic kid a few hours per week, following a method based on play to ease his interactions with the outside world.
In the past years I have volunteered in a few festivals, helping with preparation, guest attendance and cleaning up.

### LANGUAGES / TEACHING

ENGLISH: I went in Nepal in a remote village in the mountains (reachable after 5 days of trekking 💪) to teach English to the kids for about 10 days. There we also tried to raise awareness about local environmental issues (how to avoid to contaminate water with garbage, educate on the health risks related to the smoke of the stoves inside the houses)

SPANISH/ENGLISH: In 2024 I worked for a multi-day touristic tour on the San Blas islands (Panama), in which I would live translate between Spanish and English the stories shared by the local indigenous people about their culture and history, as well as questions & answers.

FRENCH and ENGLISH: I have been assisting English classes in a language academy in Florencia, Caqueta, Colombia. In the same academia I was also teaching a French course for beginners.

I am good at learning languages, I got most of my Spanish from traveling. I am a very structured mind so I always try to give as much clarity and structure as possible when I give a class.

HOMEWORK : During university I was helping a 11 y old kid with homework, mainly mathematics.

### DANCE / HEALING MODALITIES:

I have always loved to dance and thanks to my 7 years of Rhythmic Gymnastics in competition from 11 to 18-y old, I have a strong body able to do crazy acrobatics which I love hehe 😜 During those years I was sometimes giving class to the younger gymnasts.
I don’t have any certification in the following but I can lead basic acroyoga, yoga, stretching, acrobatics sessions since I love all of those.
In 2023 I got certified in Contact Beyond Contact (CBC), a dance healing practice inspired from many different healing modalities. I am now offering CBC workshops now and then along my travel around Latin America. Definitely something I would be happy to offer in a Workaway :)

### OTHER:

I am good at organizing, planning, and very curious to learn any new skill. I think I can say I am a fast learner, and I am very dedicated to my work 💪🤗
