We are Simon and Anne (both 29) and met three years ago in Munich. When we met we already had a talk about leaving Germany behind for a year and go abroad. Currently we live in Nantes, France where we work in a Restaurant. Now we'd like to move on and spend the other half in Ireland. Therefore we are looking for a long-termish stay where we can work and live (Preferably related to hospitality, gastronomy - would love to work in a pub or BnB).
Before we decided to take a break - Simon worked as a psychologist and was on its way to become a psychotherapist and Anne was working as a nurse while she studied health sciences. Now we are looking for a nice place which needs two pairs of hands to help out. We love a good laugh, music and the company of kind people who are interested to share a story. We are looking forward to a good experience where we can learn more about the Irish culture.

Quais são suas habilidades?

So far we have both been working in different fields. We gathered experience in the gastronomy, Simon worked in Canada, Austria and France in different restaurants and Crêperies where he mainly cooked and prepared food. Anne worked as an Au pair in England were she cooked every day and gathered experience in child care. After school and while becoming a nurse in Berlin she worked in a Pizzeria (making Pizza and food delivery) as well as in a studentbar in Berlin (bar tender and baking preping food).

Experience in Wwoofing/ Workaway:
We worked together on a little vegetable farm in France (wwoofing) and Anne also did a workaway in France were she helped renovating an old house ( animal care, gardening, teaching, cooking etc.) .

We are both, we'd say, quite empathetic, do have a great sense of humour, love a good laugh, speak very well English, love to communicate and have a good chat with people, are easy going and don't need much to be happy. Never would we say "no" to a pint of Guinness and a good meal. ;)

We are both very much interested in cooking and baking (sourdough bread) and would like to learn more about self made food and traditional dishes. We are also not particularly unhandy and know how to fix some things and also travel with our toolbox. ;)
