My name is Anna (born in 2003), I´m from Germany (Thuringia) and graduated school in 2021. In October 2023, I started to study to become a primary school teacher. I love working with humans, especially with children because I like their point of view on many things and how unbiased they are most of the time. After school, I did a Voluntary Year in preservation of (historical) monuments. I decided to move out right after school and travel, which sadly wasn´t possible because of the pandemic but I wanted to do and learn some practical skills as handcrafts and basic capabilities for my everyday-life. I like to create stuff such as art or upcycle old things. I like singing, baking, reading and written things in general :) I also love plants but my knowledge about them is expandable :D
After I found "workaway" I was very excited because it´s something that fits perfectly to my life-situation. I want to explore new cultures, countries, landscapes and of course people!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have two smaller siblings (born in 2009 and 2012), who i babysitted and spend time with when they were younger and did internships in a Montessori-kindergarten and a classic primary school (a few weeks as student internships). I like working with kids, playing with them and get creative and think I am flexible to work with different kids, different needs and interests. That´s why I want to be a primary school teacher :)
I learned about basic crafting due to my Voluntary Year and working with different materials (wood, metal, clay, stone,...) but I´ll need some instructions when there is something bigger to build.
I also went to a choir and singing classes for a few years and I´m enjoying listening to music as well.
I speak German fluently (mother tongue), my English is pretty acceptable and I speak a little tiny bit of French :) I´m also trying to learn Italian!
Describing my personality I would say that I am a happy, open-minded person that enjoys, and is definitly willing, to learn new things.
