Hi! My name is Anna and i am a novice workawayer. I am from Russia and in 2020 my life turned 180 degrees because I left home to go to Spain to study for 4 years. From the very first months, I realized that this was the best decision I could make. I got to know myself in a new way, discovered new facets of my abilities, became much stronger and wiser.
During this time, I realized that my main motivation in life is traveling, constantly experiencing new emotions and communicating with people from different countries. For me, it is a special pleasure to meet a new person and listen carefully to his life story, and then ask a lot of questions. I adore communication, both with peers and with adults, with a lot of experience behind their backs. I grow through such communication and learn something new about myself each time.
Traveling with one backpack, photography, painting, outdoor sports, mountain air, sunbathing, the sea, talking with family and friends (even on the phone) and their support - this is what makes me happy.

My interest in learning languages started around the age of 13, when i started actively studying Spanish and English. For my progress in Spanish, I was given a scholarship to study bachelor's degree in Spain, which was my dream since I delved into the culture and language. Now for almost two years I have been teaching Spanish remotely Now I am in my third year of bachelor's degree and I was lucky enough to become the owner of another scholarship to study in the eternal city and the capital of Italy, Rome, under the Erasmus international exchange program.My stay in Italy for 9 months, constant practice with native speakers and lectures at the university, gave me the opportunity to learn Italian in a short period to a very good level, so that after 2 months I could already work in Rome in a store and communicate with clients.I am very fascinated by the process of learning and teaching languages, and I would love to pass on my interest and skills to other people. By the way, can't wait to be able to start learning a new language, now my priority is German and French:)

Quais são suas habilidades?

My main rule is not to be afraid to try new things, be curious and go through as many experiences as possible!
Since childhood, I was drawn to drawing and painting, and so I completed 5 years of art school while studying at a regular school. In parallel, i did a lot of sports, various types of dances, swimming, skiing and snowboarding. Athletics was my main occupation, it took almost 9 years of my life. Actually, i think professional running training brought up in me willpower, stamina and determination, which influenced the formation of my personality.
Over the past three years, I have discovered new sports, such as hiking, kayaking, surfing, SUP, kick boxing and also did a small mountaineering course.
Also i have a penchant for learning languages, for now i am fluent in 4.
Now one of my favorite hobbies is photography. I like to capture the smiles of friends, moments of everyday life of people on the street. Thank you to my camera I can communicate with the outside world, speak out through pictures and their captions, as they always reflect my view of the world, my personality.
My interest in languages led me to work in an educational project as an editor of lecture texts in spanish and english. Then, during Christmas, i worked in a small designer shop in the center of Rome, where i had experience working at the cash register, wrapping gifts and constantly communicating with clients from around the world. At the same time, i worked as a photographer for the winter collection of this designer, shooting her clothes and accessories on the model.
Also for the past almost two years i have been giving Spanish classes remotely.
Finally, regarding volunteering, last summer i had my first experience, i spent almost 3 weeks in a camp in Spain where i worked with children from 9 to 11 years old. There i helped with the organization of performances and sports activities such as kayaking or climbing.

Some more facts about me: I love all animals without exception, and I am against any restriction of their freedom and violence against them. Apart from my main hobby of photography, sometimes I like to shoot videos and sit down and then painstakingly edit them. Just like photo editing, it relaxes me and brings great pleasure.
I also mentioned that I love hiking and climbing. For me, this activity is a way to get to know myself better, my abilities, to make friends with people like me. There, high in the mountains, I learn to feel connected with nature, show respect for it and enjoy the silence that does not exist anywhere else in big cities.
And yes, I am that crazy person who likes to cook on a gas burner, sleep outdoors and feel tired and exhausted, but the feeling of pride in myself and my own strength at the top of the mountain is inexpressible. My goals for the near future are to do the Camino de Santiago and climb more mountain peaks.
