My name is Alya, full name Alzhan. In my country, I have been working as a journalist and a volunteer in a charity foundation for a long time. I have always wanted to travel more, learn new things, and meet people from different cultures, it inspires me a lot. I have traveled to more than 15 countries in Europe and Asia. For almost ten months last year, I volunteered with Workaway in 5 countries, it's a great opportunity to travel longer and deeper, and I've even started writing a book about my travels.
A little bit about me. I am hardworking, proactive, and cheerful, always eager to learn and experiment with new challenges, I can work independently or with a group. I am easy to learn, optimistic, reliable, open, and accurate. I love life, sky, people, children, animals, flowers, smiles, nature, beautiful inspiring places.
I am quite social, but I also love quiet moments practicing yoga and meditation. What else? I know how to make healthy chocolate without sugar.

I can teach basic yoga, meditation, and teach how to make tasty and healthy chocolate without sugar. I like learning, gardening, growing flowers, and above all helping others, people, children, the elderly. I fall in love with beautiful places easily and can be a very inspiring guide in any surroundings. I like to talk about sights, give useful advice to tourists. And of course, I can help in the kitchen, cooking, cleaning. If you need a positive, creative person who is willing to help just drop a line and I will call back to you.

Alzhan was an awesome workawayer. She followed all house rules, played with my children and cat. We did yoga and meditation together. She is an expert yogi, and she made me start meditation regularly. I am glad i hosted her.

A great place for warm meetings, fun activities and language practice. Every evening a group of friends gathers here to have fun and improve their English together: play, sing karaoke, dance, watch movies and share stories.
