Descrição

We are a couple in their thirties who have both just obtained our Working Holiday Visa for Canada.
We want to make this opportunity an experience that will take us out of our daily lives, make us discover new people, learn a new culture and participate in different projects. We want to be able to make the most of this country which seems magnificent both in terms of its landscapes and its people and culture, and how to discover this better than by being immersed in the daily lives of Canadians. The workaway therefore seems ideal to us.

Accustomed to working in an urban environment, in an office for Arthur and in contact with the public for me, we decided before coming to Canada to leave our respective jobs to go to the seaside in a charming region of France where we all work 2 as seasonal workers. Since we arrived we have been very happy with this change in environment, habits and pace of work. The season has not yet completly started and the encounters are already unforgettable.

We hope to be able to start this new adventure thanks to the workaway community!

Nous sommes un couple dans la trentaine qui venons tous les deux d'obtenir notre Visa Vacances Travail pour le Canada.
Nous voulons faire de cette opportunité une expérience qui nous sortira de notre quotidien, nous fera découvrir de nouvelles personnes, apprendre une nouvelle culture et participer à différents projets. Nous voulons pouvoir profiter au maximum de ce pays qui semble magnifique tant par ses paysages que par ses habitants et sa culture, et comment mieux le découvrir qu'en s'immergeant dans le quotidien des Canadiens. Le travail en Workaway nous semble donc idéal.

Habitués à travailler en milieu urbain, dans un bureau pour Arthur et au contact du public pour moi, nous avons décidé avant de venir au Canada de quitter nos emplois respectifs pour aller au bord de la mer dans une charmante région de France où nous travaillons tous les 2 comme travailleurs saisonniers. Depuis notre arrivée nous sommes très contents de ce changement d'environnement, d'habitudes et de rythme de travail. La saison n'est pas encore complètement lancée et les rencontres sont déjà inoubliables.

Nous espérons pouvoir démarrer cette nouvelle aventure grâce à la communauté workaway!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Arthur:
I am used to working in the computer and audiovisual field, having participated in the creation of a reading application for children, I know how to set up a project, from reflection to creation.
Coming from a large family to which I am very close, I have many nephews and nieces with whom I like to share time.
I've been playing hockey since I was a teenager and also team skating, so I'll always be up for lacing up my skates after work.
I like to participate in the organization of all kinds of events, barbecue stand at the end of tournament parties, volunteer at the bar of the music festival next to my house, creation of cakes to please passing guests. I try to always be in a good mood and I like to make people around me laugh

Alexandra:
I have held various jobs, most of the time in contact with the public, I did baby sitting when I was young, I gave lessons on a voluntary basis to children dropping out of school, I worked in the sales, in catering, in administration during the covid period and I was recently and for 5 years a team manager in a Parisian theater. I loved forming the new teams, succeeding in establishing a group cohesion that made it much more of a job for me and that they are also much more than colleagues.

Currently working in a campsite as versatile employees, we have various missions ranging from setting up tents and tepees to small repairs to the bungalows, we do the cleaning, help at the bar, Arthur has also helped set up place the sound and light system of the dancing part of the campsite and I drove the trailer to do some clearing.

We would like to acquire new skills and are open to all proposals. We will give the best of ourselves and would be delighted to be able to bring you our seriousness, our motivation and our good humor.

Arthur :
Je suis habitué à travailler dans le domaine informatique et audiovisuel, ayant participé à la création d’une application de lecture pour enfants je sais monter à bien un projet, de la réflexion à la création. Issu d’une grande famille dont je suis très proche, j’ai de nombreux neveux et nièces avec qui j’aime partager du temps.
Je pratique le hockey depuis que je suis adolescent et fait également du roller en équipe, je serai donc toujours partant pour chausser mes patins après le travail. J’aime participer à l’organisions de toutes sortes d’événements, stand de grillade aux fêtes de fin de tournois, bénévole au bar du festival de musique à coté de chez moi, création de gâteaux pour faire plaisir aux invités de passage. J’essaye d’être toujours de bonne humeur et j’aime faire rire mon entourage

Alexandra :
J’ai exercé différents emplois, la plus part du temps au contact du public, j’ai fait du baby sitting lorsque j’étais jeune, j'ai donné des cours bénévolement à des enfants en décrochage scolaire, j'ai travaillé dans la vente, en restauration, dans l’administratif durant la période du covid et j’étais récemment et depuis 5 ans manageur d’équipe dans un théâtre parisien. J'ai adoré former les nouvelles equipes, réussir à établir une cohésion de groupe qui faisait que c'était bien plus un travail pour moi et que ce sont aussi bine plus que des collègues.

Actuellement en poste dans un camping en tant qu’employés polyvalents, nous avons diverses missions qui vont du montage des tentes et tipis aux petites réparations des bungalow, nous faisons le ménage, l’aide au bar, Arthur à également aidé à la mise en place du système son et lumière de la partie dansante du camping et j’ai conduit la remorque pour faire du débarassage.

Nous souhaiterions acquérir de nouvelles compétences et sommes ouverts à toutes les propositions. Nous donnerons le meilleur de nous même et serions ravies de pouvoir vous apporter notre sérieux, notre motivation et notre bonne humeur.

We both like to travel in our fitted van named doblita, find a nice place to sit our table, snack on saucisson and peanuts, drinking a good glass of wine while playing dices in front of a nice sunset.
We are also able to make crêpes at any time of the day or night

Nous aimons tous les deux voyager dans notre van équipé nommé doblita, trouver un endroit agréable pour s'asseoir à notre table, grignoter du saucisson et des cacahuètes, boire un bon verre de vin en jouant aux dés devant un joli coucher de soleil.
Nous sommes également capables de faire des crêpes à toute heure du jour ou de la nuit
