Hello :) We are a couple currently doing some long term travelling, exploring the world and meeting new people. We love being in nature, hiking, being active, caring for animals and getting our hands stuck into some new activities! We are both really open to learning new skills but here is a little about us both below:

Edvinas: Completed a PDC (permaculture design course) in May 2022 and since then volunteered at a couple local community gardens. Would really love to help out, get my hands dirty and deepen my permaculture knowledge. Besides that worked in restaurants and bars as a manager/supervisor so have good organization and people skills also love being in the kitchen whipping up some tasty, nourishing food. All that said, I'm a quick learner and not afraid to step out of my comfort zone so more than happy to do different things!

Nour: I am a qualified fitness instructor, yoga teacher and PT, as well as a chef and nutritionist. I have 8 years kitchen experience, cooking at retreats, festivals, restaurants, bakeries and cafes and specialise mostly in wholesome plant-based foods. I also have experience in leading a team of chefs and coordinating a kitchen. I am a newly qualified yoga teacher and PT, and have one years industry experience as a fitness instructor, teaching HIIT, TRX and resistance training with equipment. I love to learn new skills, so I am also up for doing something completely different!

We also both eat a plant-based diet, so hope this isn't too much trouble to accommodate if necessary.

We were lucky enough to stay for two weeks but could have easily stayed for longer.

Steven was a great host and it was a pleasure to help him around the farm. Daily tasks included lots of weeding around the kale, building fences against wild boars, harvesting bamboo, cooking dinners and taking care of his dog Tangyuan.

Staying at the chestnut farm for 3 and a half weeks was by far one of our favourite Workaway experiences! The work was very fun, with lots of variety - feeding the animals, collecting chestnuts, cleaning the guesthouse, cooking dinner and walking the dogs.

We had such a lovely time and it was a shame that we could only stay for a week.

Had lots of fun at the local market selling Salamino and interacting with the locals, walking Kanta in the evenings and cooking dinners. Definitely felt like we were part of the family!

Nour and Edvinas are really nice people. Nour is an excellent vegan chef and also good at gardening tasks. Edvinas was super helpful trimming trees in the garden, he seemed like he was really enjoying it and didn't look at the clock which is always appreciated. Thank you for joining the team!

Jerome and Hanaiko are the most accommodating hosts with such a beautiful space that they share. We had the most incredible two weeks, helping them in the garden, the house and cooking meals using harvests from the garden. Van and Quang were super hospitable and we enjoyed every minute of our one week stay with them and their lovable dogs!
We mainly helped with cleaning up around the house and campsite, serving guests and some gardening tasks.
